Architectural Digest

Architectural Digest is the international design authority and focuses on the work of top architects and designers, some of which work with celebs and notable figures. At AD, we brought the magazine’s exclusive celebrity home access and world renown designers, to video, as the brand itself was growing across platforms. On top of this challenge, we needed to maintain the brand’s voice and aesthetic found in the pages of Architectural Digest.

Strategy Programming Development Production

When I first joined AD in 2020, the brand only had 2 series, both of which were home tours. On the Market tours $100M homes found around the US that are actually listed to buy and Open Door is Architectural Digest’s exclusive and intimate celebrity home tour series, guided by the celebs themselves. The latter of which has over 90 episodes and 800M+ lifetime views on YouTube.

In 2020, I was responsible for the programming and development for Architectural Digest. That year we saw an increase of 50M views and gained 1.8M subscribers, setting new records for the brand. In 2021, we garnered an additional 1.1M subscribers.

I helped shepherd a sponsored editorial campaign of two episodes of Open Door with Samsung as our client, garnering 10.5M and 4.5M organic views.

In 2021 the brand continued to expand and went on to launch a new DIY vertical for the website called AD It Yourself. Along with this new, more accessible vertical, we developed a new slate of programming, which included 8 new series for the brand and lead to tons of new opportunities with our advertising partners.

During my time on AD, the brand garnered over 20 videos on YouTube Trending.
